Setting up direct deposit and payment methods
Last updated February 28, 2026
To receive your GoRoute earnings, you'll need to link a bank account or debit card to your driver profile. GoRoute offers flexible payout options so you can access your money on a schedule that works for you.
Linking your bank account
Navigate to Account > Payment Methods > Add Bank Account. Enter your bank's routing number and your account number. GoRoute will make two small verification deposits (usually a few cents each) within 1 to 2 business days. Once they appear in your bank statement, return to the app and enter the exact amounts to confirm the account. After verification, your bank account is ready to receive payouts.
Weekly payouts
By default, GoRoute processes weekly payouts every Tuesday for the previous week's earnings (Monday through Sunday). Funds typically arrive in your bank account within 2 to 3 business days, meaning most drivers see their deposit by Thursday or Friday. There is no fee for weekly direct deposits, and there is no minimum payout threshold — any amount earned will be transferred.
Instant Pay
If you'd prefer not to wait for the weekly cycle, GoRoute offers Instant Pay, which lets you cash out your available earnings up to five times per day. Instant Pay requires a linked debit card (credit cards are not supported) and transfers funds within minutes. Each Instant Pay transaction incurs a small fee of $0.50. To use it, go to Earnings > Cash Out and select the amount you'd like to withdraw.
Troubleshooting
If your payout fails, it's usually because your bank account information was entered incorrectly or your debit card has expired. Double-check your details in Account > Payment Methods and update them if needed. Failed payouts are automatically retried on the next business day. If you continue to experience issues, contact GoRoute driver support for assistance.
