Adding or switching your vehicle on GoRoute

Whether you've purchased a new car, need to use a temporary vehicle, or want to drive a different car on certain days, GoRoute makes it easy to manage your vehicles from within the app.
Adding a new vehicle
- Open the GoRoute Driver app and go to Account > Vehicle Info > Add Vehicle.
- Enter the vehicle's year, make, model, color, and license plate number.
- Upload clear photos of the front, back, and both sides of the vehicle.
- Upload the vehicle's registration document showing your name (or an authorized driver letter from the owner).
- Upload proof of insurance covering the new vehicle.
- Schedule a vehicle inspection at an approved GoRoute inspection center.
Once the inspection is passed and your documents are verified, the new vehicle will appear as an option in your app. You can have up to three vehicles on your GoRoute account at any time.
Switching between vehicles
If you have multiple approved vehicles, you can switch between them before going online. On the home screen, tap the vehicle icon near the Go Online button and select the car you'll be driving for that session. You must select the correct vehicle — driving a different car than the one shown in the app is a violation of GoRoute's terms and may result in account deactivation.
Removing a vehicle
To remove a vehicle you no longer use, go to Account > Vehicle Info, select the vehicle, and tap Remove Vehicle. You must always have at least one active, approved vehicle on your account to remain eligible to drive. If you sell or trade in your only vehicle, your account will be paused until you add and inspect a new one.
